Sunday Morning Worship
This time of year, we hear a lot about the people who gathered around the manger cradling the Baby Jesus. It's an image that plays a significant role during the holiday season.
Elizabeth and Zechariah are two Biblical figures you don't see in a Nativity scene, yet, the news about their upcoming birth is how the Gospel of Luke gets started. "What if I missed it?" is the question we start with this season, one that focuses on how God can bless us in unexpected ways.
During Advent (a season of preparing for the arrival of Jesus) we invite you to explore the story of Elizabeth and Zechariah and those of other people from the Christmas Story to see what they teach us about our faith, our relationship with God, and with others.
