WELCOME TABLE

We invite YOU to our table where everyone is always WELCOME!

There is no charge and no qualifying for this meal which is served on Thursday evenings. 

Just come and let us serve you.


  • Dinner service begins at 5:00 pm and runs through 6:00 pm 
  • Just come to Asbury Hall on the lower level and take a seat at one of the tables.
  • One of our volunteer servers will come and take your drink order and bring you your food. 
  • At this time no transportation to Welcome Table is provided.

A MINISTRY AT WORK

When this ministry first began at 1st United Methodist Church we fed around 9-thousand people each year.  In 2017, that number had grown to 12-thousand.  Combined with the meals served at Welcome Table at New Providence Presbyterian Church, that number climbs to 26-thousand.

  • The average cost of a meal at Welcome Table is around $3.  
  • Donations are received from area businesses. 
  • There is no charge to guests for Welcome Table meals. 
  • Chef Amelia Geis-Scott coordinates the meals at both churches.
