GROWING YOUR FAITH WITH 1st
Worship is just part of our journey of faith. It is important for us to continue studying, learning and growing in Christ. 1st UMC offers people of all ages the chance to delve deeper into their faith.
1st Kids Ministries
Through the teaching of Biblical principles, 1st Kids programs help children develop a closer relationship with Christ. Programs include Sunday School, Kids Own Worship, Confirmation Classes and opportunities for kids to participate in the mission work of the church.
If your child plans on attending Sunday School or Kids Own Worship we ask that you fill out our Child Information Sheet either online or at the 1st Kids Welcome Desk on the lower level.

1st Youth Ministries
Youth in 6th through 12th grades are welcome to be a part of 1st Youth. This is a community devoted to God, excited to serve, open to new and different people and eager to make anything fun. Throughout the year there are regular weekly meetings and special get togethers aimed at building fellowship and community.
Sunday School
Sunday School is an integral part of the faith journey and it's a long standing tradition at 1st UMC. The Sunday School time each week is from 9:15 am until 10:30. There are classes for children ages 3 to 103 (or even older Alternate Grinning Face).

Nursery Services
Nursery Services are now available on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday Evenings. They are available for children ages 3 and under.
Small Group Studies
Whether it's one of our Lenten Studies, an in-depth discussion about a social justice issue or an Adam Hamilton Bible Study, small groups are an integral part of the faith journey. While most studies have been online the past year, we are hoping in-person studies will resume soon. Groups like United Methodist Women, our men's groups and even a knitting group round out ways you can be a part of a small group at 1st UMC.
