Shelley Maddox (soprano) and Dr. Jennifer Anderson (piano) perform a recital of Christmas music in the beautifully decorated Sanctuary on this afternoon. You are invited to enjoy "Songs of the Season" a collection of familiar carols, spirituals and songs of the season. The program will be about an hour and include selections like: the spiritual, Sweet Little Jesus Boy, a jazzy rendition of I’ll Be Home for Christmas, a rhythmic and fun interpretation of Jingle Bells, Christ is Born from the Carpenters Christmas album, and numerous other selections - a couple of which were arranged by our Director of Music, Dr. Dwight Dockery. Please join us in the sanctuary on December 17 at 3:30pm for a festive hour of Christmas music. A reception with light refreshments will follow the program in Wesley Hall.
