DAYBREAK IS NOW OPEN!

Our new respite ministry for people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia opened October 3rd.

Our Mission

DayBreak respite program exists for Christian disciples to serve families tasked with continual care of a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. DayBreak serves as a safe place to provide social, physical, and intellectual stimulation for participants while providing a respite and support for caregivers and those who need to work.

This ministry is part of the mission hub of 1st UMC @Sycamore Tree located at 1830 Clydesdale Street in Maryville.

There will be a need for both volunteers and families who can benefit from the respite program.

Please spread the word and make referrals. Inquiries about both can be made by emailing

 info@daybreakcare.org or calling 865-315-2371.

Our new website is ready. Please visit to see it and to learn more about our program
