Conversation Matters - How COVID-19 and scientists' understanding of it have evolved
In late 2019, a new respiratory virus was discovered. At that time it
was probably difficult for any of us to imagine how SARS-CoV-2
would impact our lives and the conversations we would be having
about the virus and ways to combat it.
From widespread shutdowns, recommendations to social distance,
and mask and vaccine mandates, the science behind it all seemed
to change rapidly.
On April 24th at 5:00 pm Dr. Jennifer Brigati of Maryville College leads a conversation about how
scientists understanding of COVID-19 evolved over time and how that information was used to try and
bring a worldwide pandemic under control.
