Sunday Morning Worship
This is Pentecost Sunday, a day often referred to as the "birthday" of the church. During this time we remember the day the disciples received the Holy Spirit in a special way and how it was poured out on people from all over the world who were gathered in Jerusalem at the time.
As we gather, we would like to see you wearing the colors of the flame, as the Holy Spirit was poured out with a powerful wind and tongues of fire. We will also have a special photo "birthday" photo booth for you to get a picture to mark the occasion.
As a community of faith, the people of 1st United Methodist Church have been worshipping for more than 150 years.
Whether you are joining us online or in-person we hope our time together is meaningful and that you feel welcome as we come together for worship.
