To be an apostle is to be SENT in the name of or on behalf of another. Jesus understood himself to be sent by God the Father, and he intended his followers to be sent into the world in his name. On this Sunday we begin a look at what it means to be SENT, exploring why and how the church is SENT into our community, region, and world to live as Jesus did. As a community of faith, the people of 1st United Methodist Church have been worshipping for more than 150 years.
