The Church (or liturgical) calendar ends on this Sunday as we get set to prepare for the birth of Jesus Christ at the end of the season of Advent. During the 8:15 Traditional Worship Service and the 10:30 Contemporary Worship Service we'll observe "Christ the King" Sunday, coming together to remember Christ as our crucified God who reconciles the whole world to himself through his death and resurrection. Students lead the 10:30 Traditional Worship service on this day as 1st UMC and churches across the denomination celebrate United Methodist Student Sunday.
