When we know that things might not turn out OK, how do we find hope? It's possible that hope might turn up in unexpected places if you know how to spot it. Using MaryAnn McKibben Dana's book Hope, this study (via Zoom) will serve as a User's Manual on the journey to find answers to questions like: What Hope is? How does hope live in the body? How do we find hope beyond hope? and What are the best practices to find hope? This study is led by Rev. Sarah Slack (Associate Pastor at 1st UMC) and Wendy Wand. The registration deadline is January 16th. Participants will need to purchase the book prior to the start of the study.
