Early in James 1:19-25 we hear the importance of listening as a way of honoring our neighbors. Not only does listening contribute toward our being slow to anger, but listening is aw way of expressing and demonstrating our humility. As we come together for worship (online or in-person) we focus on ways to listen without being dismissive and how to hear God's word and turn it into action.
