This year the Holston Conference celebrates its bicentennial. Annual Conference happens at Lake Junaluska, NC from June 9th through June 12th. Sticking with the “together” themes of the past few years, this year the focus is on ways we “Serve Together.”
Delegates from 1st United Methodist Church include our clergy, Rev. Jonathan Jonas and Rev. Sarah Slack. Deacons represented are Rev. Nathan Irwin, Rev. Brye Rop and Rev. Greta Smith.
Julie George is the 1st UMC Lay Leader. Owen Ragland, Pat Scruggs and Sylvia Waters are also delegates representing 1st UMC.
Russell George, Kathryn King, Phil Large, Brad Lunde and Emmit Rawls will all represent the Smoky Mountain District.
