In the time when Jesus was born, Shepherds were not highly regarded. They were not wealthy, didn't hold any real power and sometimes had a dangerous job. So, when God showed up to bring them a message about Jesus, why were they chosen to receive it? In this Unlikely Advent story we focus on the Shepherds and how their role serves as a model of how we can focus on the work of God's Holy Spirit in in our lives today.
