One of our core values at 1st Church is to SEND people out into the community and around the world to make disciples of Christ. On the Sunday before Easter we are looking to do something OUT-OF-THE-BOX as we join our children to "Walk in the Light" together. On the afternoon of Palm Sunday (March 24th) we will meet at the Sandy Springs Pavilion) near Best Street to worship, hear a short lesson about what it means to be a light in the world, and decorate lanterns for a parade. 3:00 to 4:15 - Worship and Create 4:15 to 5:00 - Parade through the Park 5:00 to 6:00 - Dinner in the Pavilion
