The Friday before Easter marks a dramatic turning point in the Holy Week story. As we gather for worship we remember Jesus' descent into death in a service of Tenebrae, or "shadows." Throughout the service you will hear special music, readings and descend into darkness as candles are extinguished until the room becomes dark. This year's Good Friday worship will be in the Sanctuary of 1st UMC @ Sycamore Tree.
