Rising 7th graders through graduated seniors have the opportunity to spend a week in fellowship with other youth from the Holston Conference of the UMC. Jr./Sr. High Assembly is at Emory & Henry College in Emory, VA this year. Throughout this week long event youth meet in family groups, play, worship and participate in a variety of interest groups. One theme for the week is "Serve Together." Throughout the week students will have the opportunity to participate in a meal packing program and other hands on mission projects. Rev. Chris Black from Madisonville UMC is the speaker. Assembly alumni, Kennedy and Spencer Moore will lead the music. The cost for 1st Youth to attend this event is $175.
